WHAT’S YOUR HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE POLICY?

As part of our Stay Safe, Stay St Giles policy, we offer complimentary housekeeping service on request for stays up to (3) three nights. Please call our reception team by 11 am to request service.

Full housekeeping service is offered every 4th day, for stays four (4) nights and longer.

Each room is thoroughly cleaned after check out and before a new arrival.


WHAT IS YOUR RESPONSE TO COVID-19?

We’ve implemented new safety standards and hygiene protocols as part of our Stay Safe, Stay St Giles Programme –   including increased cleaning, protective screens, hand sanitising stations, social distancing guidelines, and more. View Programme Details

We have acquired the industry standard mark, meaning we have followed government and industry COVID-19 guidelines, we have a risk assessment in place and a process to maintain cleanliness and aid social distancing.

WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?

If you cancel by 6:00pm hotel time on the day prior to your arrival date, no cancellation fee will apply. If you cancel after this time or fail to arrive, the cancellation penalty fee amount will be: First night charge (based on total first night rate of your confirmed reservation).

Please note that certain package rates are non-refundable. Please refer to your confirmation for details.

If you made your reservation through a group, the group contract will outline specific cancellation policies.

If you made your reservation through a third party (website or travel agent), cancellations must be made directly with the third party. The hotel is not authorised to cancel, and cannot provide refunds, for any third party reservations.


DO YOU ALLOW PETS?

Yes, St Giles London is a pet friendly hotel. We offer a special pet rate – £12 per cat or dog, maximum 2 pets per room with a combined weight of 25 kg. Your pet must be with you at all times and is welcome to join you in our reception area. Please call reception ahead when leaving your room. Pets are not allowed in the restaurant areas. Your furry family member must be kept on a leash or in a carrier at all times when in the public areas of our hotel and are not allowed to roam the hotel freely. Please do not leave your pet in the room unattended without notifying reception prior. Pet door hanger is to be kept on the door all the time to indicate pet in room. On arrival, we ask that you present up to date vaccination documents and inform reception of any other health details relating to your wonderful pet. If your room is damaged or a mess is made by your pet, there will be a repairing/cleaning fee of £150 payable at check-out.


IS THE PROPERTY UNDERGOING REFURBISHMENT?

As part of our continued commitment to enhance our property, we are in the first phase of a three-year room refurbishment project, starting with Tower B.

What are the Peak Times for Possible Noise Inference?

Work will occur weekdays 9 am-6 pm, and weekends 10:30 am – 5 pm. As a result, there may be noise during these periods for guests staying in Tower B. (Please note, there are four (4) guest room towers at St Giles London hotel) Our team will be on hand to offer any assistance throughout and will endeavour to keep any disruption to your stay to a minimum. No work will occur after 6 pm unless stated otherwise.

Will Guests be Staying on the same Floors during the Refurbishmemt Work?

While refurbishment work may be occurring on the same floor as available guest rooms, it will be in a different tower and away from the rooms where guests are staying.


HOW DO I MAKE A GROUP RESERVATION?

Bookings of fifteen (15) or more guests are considered a group.

IS PARKING AVAILABLE?

We regret to inform our guests that the independently owned car park that was located under our hotel is now closed.

We have a special discounted rate at NCP (National Car Park) Bloomsbury and Covent Gardens for guests with a confirmed reservation at St Giles London hotel. Please contact book@stgiles.com for more details.

DO YOU HAVE SMOKING ROOMS?

St Giles London is a completely non-smoking property. ​Smoking is not permitted in the guest room​s or any other areas inside the hotel​. There is a ​​fine for violation of the ​hotel’s​ smoking policy.


HOW CAN I GET TO THE HOTEL FROM THE AIRPORT?

Our dedicated concierge team at St Giles London hotel is on-hand to arrange your airport transportation, for a small fee. Please email LConcierge@stgiles.com with your arrival and/or departure details, and a member of the team will follow up with more information, including  price options. Please note that all transportation is booked via a third party.

London City Airport (LCY) is 10 miles from the city center.

London Heathrow Airport (LHR) is 18 miles from the city centre.

Both airports are easily accessible by car, taxi, or public transportation.
